World Cup USA Photos

Now here is a photo that I really liked.  Me and my Logistics Crew at the San Francisco Venue of World Cup Soccer.  We are in front of the main entrance of Stanford Stadium in Palo Alto.  That's me and Carin De Milo on the roof.  Carin was my assistant production manager.  Dale Radecki my warehouse assistant manager, and Stu behind us.   Then we have the Disney gang...  Thom Chan front and center; Tim Fedel to the right, right my assistant operations manager; Rico Ramirez a great local soccer fan, xx, and Chris Andrews on the end.

Thom is no longer with us....  I miss him!  He was a good friend and Great to work with in my many years with Disneyland and finally at World Cup '94.  We had good times.  I am glad he got to come out and play with us.

I'll will always remember living with all these guys in two apartments that were across the hall from each other.  I rented the places just down the street from the staging warehouse.  There was a McDonald's that the Boys eat at almost everyday with the free meal vouchers.  Man did they learn after a month to hate Micky D's.

World Cup USA '94 was a wild time.  We all learned a lot while at the same time tried not to kill each other!  But as always we KICKED butt on getting the job done - not matter what.  The Backdoor tradition lives on!!!
